Nick Carter: From the Backstreet to Taking Off

When you think of Nick Carter, the first image you may conjure is of a young kid with a bleach-blonde bowl cut and a flowing white, open shirt, reminiscent of the Backstreet Boys music video “Quit Playing Games With My Heart.” If you entered any mall in the ’90s, you probably heard BSB tunes like “Everybody” and “I Want It That Way” many times. Since then, Nick has changed his hair, dated Paris Hilton, been part of a reality show about his family and released a solo album. Brian Littrell of Backstreet Boys talks about the band, fans and rivals

Brian Littrell, member of the Backstreet Boys and heartthrob at large, is making his way to Hershey. The same man whose faced grinned from posters on bedroom walls and covers of teen magazines has joined up with his band mates and New Kids on the Block for a concert tour that makes every boy-band fan's dream come true. Their next destination? Hersheypark Stadium Saturday.

Even if the name Backstreet Boys sounds foreign, chances are you know their music. The group shot to fame in the late 90s with hits like “Quit Playing Games With My Heart,” and “I Want It That Way.” Six of the group's albums have been in the Billboard 200 Top 10. It has recorded numerous hit songs and has been nominated for seven Grammy Awards.

Backstreet Boys Konser di Jakarta, Indonesia

Review konser Backstreet Boys di Jakarta, Indonesia tahun 2008.

Pecinta boys Band kembali diingatkan ke masa kejayaan Boy Band asal Amerika Serikat Backstreet Boys (BSB).

Dengan menggunakan jubah berwarna silver bak petinju, Brian Litrell, Nick Carter, A.J McLean dan Howie Dorough mengajak penggemar untuk bersorak ketika mereka membawakan lagu pertama berjudul Large Than Life. Sontak antusias penonton dan teriakan histeris terdengar di seluruh ruangan JCC Plenary Hall, Senayan, Jakarta Selatan, Selasa (26/2/2008).

Di lagu kedua mereka kompak berganti kostum. Semua personel, mengenakan jaket berwarna hitam dan langsung menggebrak dengan menyanyikan lagu Every One, dan dilanjutkan hits-hits lawasnya hingga lagu ke enam I Want it That Way.

Meski tampil sebagai Backstreet Boys, keempat personel tidak hanya membawakan lagu-lagu BSB. Mereka unjuk gigi dengan tampil solo menyanyikan lagu dari album yang mereka liris masing-masing.

Burning Up, Lagu Terfavorit di Album Terbaru Nick Carter

Menurut polling yang dibuat sendiri oleh Nick Carter, Burning Up adalah lagu terfavorit yang paling banyak disukai oleh para penggemarnya. Nick yang membuat polling tersebut lewat facebook resminya mungkin ingin melihat bagaimana antusiasme para penggemarnya sekaligus ingin mengetahui lagu mana yang paling layak untuk dibuatkan video klip selanjutnya setelah single pertamanya Just One Kiss. Burning Up kental akan nuansa dance. Di Lagu tersebut, Nick berkolaborasi dengan rapper Britton "Briddy" Shaw.

Anehnya, sampai saat ini Nick belum ada rencana untuk membuatkan video klip untuk lagu Burning Up itu. Loh, kok? Kenapa ya Nick, padahal lagunya oke punya tuh...
